The Maui Camera Club will hold its monthly meeting Monday, June 12th, in the usual location of Hale Mahaolu Elima Community Meeting Room, 11 Mahaolu St., Kahului (off of Kamehameha Avenue).
Monday night’s club meeting features our good friend and award-winning photographer from the Big Island, Bruce Omori.
Bruce and his partner Tom Kuali’i run the Extreme Exposure Gallery in Hilo, and lead tours to island locations many don’t even know about. Bruce’s work covers everything from surfing to native birds, but the main focus is on lava. He has twice won the uber-prestigious Windland Smith Rice ‘Art in Nature’ category of Nature’s Best Photography, displayed in the Smithsonian Institution.
Come join us for a terrific evening of photos and talk story. Room opens at 5:30 for socializing, program starts at 6:00.
