I really love being part of the Maui Camera Club - I've learned so much from the other members and my photography has definitely improved as a result.

I also enjoy our outings and seeing everyone's images - as a bonus, I've made some friends for life!

I'm a retired firefighter who ran a successful photography business on Maui for several years. I joined the Camera Club shortly after moving here, and have loved the presenters, the outings, the classes, and the sharing.

I met some of my best friends on island through the club, and look forward to being part of it long into the future.

I'm an artist, designer, art director and I have a camera. Love painting, taking photos, surfing, traveling and exploring.

I've been in the club since moving to Maui from California. I've made some wonderfully creative friends!

Taking photos to create art, or even to tell a story, is a continuous journey of discovery. Surprisingly, I started to see life differently once I viewed the world through my camera lens. 

I’ve been a member of the Maui Camera Club for several years and I always learn something new from other members and through our monthly photo sharing forums.

I love capturing the moment with my camera.  Ansel Adams once said, “You donʻt take a photograph, you make it.” With todayʻs software weʻre able to create the image that either resembles what I saw or resembles what I wanted to see.

The Maui Camera Club has been a valuable learning environment for members of all skill levels as well as a great place to make new friends.
