I really love being part of the Maui Camera Club - I've learned so much from the other members and my photography has definitely improved as a result.

I also enjoy our outings and seeing everyone's images - as a bonus, I've made some friends for life!

I'm always inspired by the sharing of fellow members when I listen to them and see their work.  Photography is a de-stressor - just pick up your camera and go anywhere! 

So many friends I've made, so much I learn, and so much fun at our meetings and outings!

I love capturing the moment with my camera.  Ansel Adams once said, “You donʻt take a photograph, you make it.” With todayʻs software weʻre able to create the image that either resembles what I saw or resembles what I wanted to see.

The Maui Camera Club has been a valuable learning environment for members of all skill levels as well as a great place to make new friends.

I'm a retired firefighter who ran a successful photography business on Maui for several years. I joined the Camera Club shortly after moving here, and have loved the presenters, the outings, the classes, and the sharing. I met some of my best friends on island through the club, and look forward to being part of it long into the future.
