Sunrise Photo Shoot - August 29, 2026
A small adventure took us to Waiʻehu Beach Park for a sunrise photo shoot. Some ended up at Waiheʻe Beach Park but eventually found their way to the designated beach park. All in all, we all agreed that it was a great and convenient location. There were a few members that haven't been to this part of Maui so a new discovery was accomplished that morning. Every 3 months, members have a chance to submit and share photos of their choice. It gives them the freedom to be creative in their most favorite subject. It also gives them a chance to explore other areas in the field. And sometimes, it happens to be pictures of where they were at the time.
Members: Email your pictures by the Friday before the club meeting to Curtiss Gajda at ckgajda@gmail.com.
Meetings are held on the second Monday of the month from 5:30-7:30p at 179 W Kaʻahumanu Avenue, Kahului, HI 96732

Pictures should have been taken within the last six months. At our Club meeting, we'll share the pictures. Members may simply share their photos or ask for feedback from the audience.

Member's Photo Story Page
To create excitement in the club, we have a Memberʻs Photo Story Page.
This page is a photo story with at least one photograph and one short paragraph submitted by any club member. It is a way to encourage others to participate more in the club in an inclusive way. There is almost no limit to the length of the story or number of photographs…yet. Weʻll see if we have that problem. The photographs would be of your choice but related to the story. It does not have to relate to the monthly assignments and yet, it could. For example, if you had more than 2 pictures that you wanted to share, you could write and share the other pictures on this page. You could also tell the story about how you got the pictures or even the challenges you faced to get the shots. Itʻll be your show ʻn tell time.
